I did my normal 45 minute cardio session but interjected a few bouts of jumping rope and jumping jacks. I was wiped out at the end and called it quits when I saw that I hit 300 calories on the HRM. Overall, not too shabby although not the most calories I have burned in 45 minutes.
Total calories burned:
Elliptical: 20 minutes
Moving backward
0-10 min: switch levels every minute 2/16 3/15 4/14 5/13 6/12
Moving forward
10-20 min: repeat above
Gym Boss: perform each move for 30 seconds
- jumping jacks
- double jacks
- jumping rope
- jump rope crossovers
- repeat until perform 10 rounds (= 5 minutes)
Elliptical: 15 minutes
Moving backward
0-10 min: switch levels every minute 2/16 3/15 4/14 5/13 6/12
Moving forward
10-15 min: start at level 2 and increase by 1 level every 30 seconds
Gym Boss: perform each move for 30 seconds
- jumping jacks
- double jacks
- jumping rope
- jump rope crossovers
Stretching: Quads/Hamstrings
